How My Private Wine Tours Work
Your itinerary for your Sonoma wine tour is completely tailored to you. Before designing your private tour, I’ll have a few questions about your interests. Once I get a feel for your pace and interests, I create a list of winery and restaurant suggestions as well as any must-see sights I feel you will enjoy. I will make all reservations and appointments needed for your day.
I will pick you up from your accommodations at our appointed time in one of my brand new, freshly cleaned sedans. I will provide you with a printed itinerary for you to reference throughout the day. As the day goes on, we can definitely make changes to our schedule if desired. That’s the best part of a private tour – it’s all about you! At the end, I will drop you back off at your accommodations, safe and sound with nightlife recommendations if desired.
I also cater to those who know exactly what they want. I am happy to take the list of wineries and spots you want to see and book them in the best order for the day.
I also have suggestions on accommodations if needed. In fact, any recommendations you need, I am here for you. I have been exploring Sonoma and Napa Valley for over twenty years. I am beyond delighted to provide my guidance to ensure you have an amazing time here.
Rates
Full day private Sonoma wine tours start at $950. Rates are based on the size of your group and length of tour. (Bus tours for large groups are available upon request.) The private tour fee includes:
- Me, Gwendolyn, as your host!
- New, freshly cleaned luxury SUV or sedan
- An itinerary customized to your interests
- Pick up from your lodging
- Essentia PH water & light snacks
Note: Tour guests are responsible for all tour and tasting fees, food and wine purchases, and gratuities and tips. Tasting fees are paid directly to the wineries. I do not receive any commissions from the wineries. Wine tasting fees and elevated wine experiences can range in price from $50 per person to $350. Currently, the average tasting fee is around $80 per person. Tasting fees are frequently discounted or waived with a wine purchase.
